The Operations improvement team is currently looking to identify outstanding individuals with passion for science and technology and an analytical and creative approach to problem solving. This role is crucial to the continuous improvement process, which will work closely with the Management Information and Business Intelligence areas to effectively and efficiently deliver business improvements and requirements. If you have a thirst for data, data manipulation, analysis, modelling, science and a curious mind-set which is able to bridge together the gap between theory and practice this opportunity may be for you!

Working within Operations Improvement, you will be able to undertake varied and diverse work, with the freedom to investigate and suggest operational changes and work on a fast paced and ever changing environment across the different areas of the Port: operations, strategies, system logics, planning, engineering, development, etc. Some key projects you could be working on include; real time equipment monitoring, forecasting and find hidden trends (big data and machine learning), developing scheduling and optimisation algorithms, remote operations, automation and robotization, system integration…
